"The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to say things with words" Elliott Erwitt
Sitting in the front of my dad's Rover on the way to school (a 3500S in case you're curious) I could barely see out. The sound of that woofly V8 and the smell of the leather were both intoxicating and unforgettable. Later in the holidays when my posh godfather came to visit in his ice blue DB6, and Vulcan bombers flew over our Yorkshire garden when I went outside to play, I was in heaven. Moments such as these shaped my childhood, and Matchbox, Airfix, Meccano, Scalextric, Corgi and Mamod filled every available minute.
Far too many years later, and after a recent relocation to within half an hour of the Goodwood circuit, a lifelong passion for what I nowadays like to call analogue engineering has led to this.
Here you'll find concours classics, warbirds in flight, iconic race cars at rest and on track, each and every one of them a tribute to the skill and mechanical brilliance of the men and women who designed and built them. Along with numerous galleries of fine art limited edition prints I'm also available for private and corporate commissions, event coverage and editorial. Oh, and there's a smattering of unique gifts.
I hope you enjoy browsing the site.
